VOICE
Voice is the form of the verb which indicates whether the subject does the work or something has been done it.
[verb এর যে রূপে (form) তার subject সক্রিয় না নিষ্ক্রিয় করে তা নির্দেশ করে তাকে voice বলে।]

Voice দুই প্রকার। যথা:
1. Active voice: verb এর যে রূপে sub ক্রিয়াশীল থেকে নিজ করে তাকে Active voice বলে।
2. Passive voice: verb এর পরিবর্তনশীল যে রুপে subject নিষ্ক্রিয় তাকে Passive voice বলে।
- Rule 1: shall, should, will, would, may, might, can, could, must, ought to, going to, have to, has to, due to, owing to, like to, forward to, is to, am to, are to যুক্ত Active voice কে Passive voice করার সময় এদের পরে be বসে। তার পরেই মূল verb টির past participle বসে। অর্থাৎ –
Object টি Subject হয়। প্রদত্ত verb টি বসে+ be বসে+ মূল verb এর Past participle বসে+ by বসে+ subject টির object form বসে।
Example- Active: I am do it.
Passive: It can be done by me.
Rule 2: শুধমাত্র মূল verb দিয়ে sentence শুরু হলে Active voice কে Passive voice এ রুপান্তরিত করার নিয়ম:
প্রথমে Let বসে+ object টির subject form বসে+ be বসে+ মূল verb এর past participle form বসে।
Example-Active: Do the sum.
Passive: Let the sum be done.
Rule 03: Let+ ব্যাক্তিবাচক object (me, us, you, them, him, her) যুক্ত Imperative sentence এর Active voice কে Passive voice- এ রুপান্তরিত করার নিয়ম-
প্রথমে let বসে+ object টির subject form বসে+ be বসে+ মূল verb এর past participle form বসে+ by বসে+ প্রদত্ত ব্যক্তিবাচক object- টি বসে।
Example-Active: Let the girl sing a song.
Passive: Let a song be sung by the girl.
Rule 04: Never যুক্ত Imperative sentence কে Passive করার নিয়ম-
প্রথমে Let not বসে+ object- টির subjective form বসে+ ever be+ মূল verb এর Past participle বসে।
Exaple- Active: Neve tell a lie.
Passive: Let not a lie ever be told.
Rule 05: Who যুক্ত Interrogative sentence এর Active voice কে Passive voice- এ রুপান্তরিত করার নিয়ম-
Who এর পরিবর্তে by whom বসে। Tense Person অনুযায়ী auxiliary verb (be verb) বসে+ object- টির subjective form বসে+ অনেক সময় Tense অনুযায়ী subject এর পরে be/ being/ been বসাতে হবে। মূল verb এর Past participle form বসে+ ? বসে।
Example-Active: Who is calling me?
Passive: By whom am I being called?
Rule 06: Whom যুক্ত Interrogative sentence এর Active voice কে Passive voice-এ রুপান্তরিত করার নিয়ম-
Whom এর পরিবর্তে প্রথমে who বসে+ Tense ও Person অনুযায়ী auxiliary verb (be verb) বসে+ মূল verb এর Past participle form বসে+ by বসে+ Subject টির object form বসে+ ? বসে।
Example-Active: Whom is the teacher English?
Passive: Who is being taught English by him?
